What I did when I wasn't blogging

I took a break from blogging, twittering, retweeting and feverishly reading every Mashable post as it appeared in my RSS reader.

It was driving me crazy.

And my ass was getting bigger and bigger.

I missed a lot. The tweetups at the Wine Train and  Vintank, the lists feature on Twitter and whatever momentum I had built in page views.

This is what I did instead.

Skydiving changed my life. My tandem partner Jeff saved my life because I forgot to pull the chute. He was sweet about it. Hiked in the steps of Robert Louis Stevenson...
listened to a creek...

sniffed bay leaves...and admired an iconoclastic leaf.
